Audition for Second Stage’s A Chorus Line

A Chorus Line imageFrom Jessica Perelman ’17:

Come audition for Second Stage’s A CHORUS LINE!! This classic musical is about an eclectic group of dancers auditioning to be in the ensemble of a Broadway production. The show is filled with many featured roles, catchy songs, and fabulous 70s dancewear!

Although there will be several choreographed numbers, no prior dance experience is needed. If you dance but don’t want to sing alone, there are also parts for you! We welcome anyone who has ever had any interest in performing to audition!

*A note about casting: Productions of A Chorus Line often showcase actors who closely resemble the original cast. Our production will strive to break from this tradition by featuring a cast that includes actors regardless of race, gender, body type, and other facets of identity. All roles can (and hopefully will) be played by a broad range of performers from our community. Our main priority during the casting process is to be as inclusive and welcoming as possible. If you have any questions or concerns regarding casting, please contact Jessica at jperelman[at]wesleyan[dot]edu
