Opening Reception and Gallery Talk “Sasha Rudensky—Acts and Illusions”

From the CFA:

For more than a decade, Assistant Professor of Art Sasha Rudensky has repeatedly returned to Russia and the post-Soviet territories with her camera. Her photographs track a lost generation that has come of age during the Vladimir Putin era. The exhibition “Sasha Rudensky—Acts and Illusions” highlights 25 of her meticulously observed and constructed images, which present an unsettling view into contemporary life in the New East. There will be a Gallery Talk by Assistant Professor of Art Sasha Rudensky at 5:30pm.

Date: TODAY, September 13
