The College of the Environment presents –
Facing Disasters: Disturbing the Human-Environment Relationship
How do we face disasters? Sometimes we live through them, other times we experience them indirectly from a distance. How can we make such distances malleable? How can we transform ourselves from being passive observers to agents of change?
How can we use our knowledge of disaster to motivate action? In this event, the COE fellows, Wesleyan students and alumni will explore these ideas and present works that engage with the 2017-18 COE think tank theme, “From Disruptions to Disasters.”
Date: Friday, March 2
