This could be you?!
Benjamin Abravanel ’13 wants your help:
The Wesleyan Musical Theatre Collective, which is currently in the process of writing an original musical loosely based on Oscar’s Wilde’s “The Canterville Ghost” is looking for one or two additional composers who might be interested in composing a few pieces of original music.
Anyone who’s interested should email wesmtc(at)gmail.com
Apparently these dudes are delivering them from 12 AM to 3 AM all weekend (including tonight). Doc’s Grille, run by Anonymous ‘??, is delivering grilled cheeses to Wesleyan students tonight (1 for $3 and 2 for $5). Find them at their site and order by emailing docsgrille(at(gmail(dot)com (include a phone number and where you want it delivered).
Speak Your Piece main man Dan Levine ’11 writes in with this week’s episode—tune in here:
We’re back from fall break with a great episode featuring three Wesleyan student writers. Zach Schonfeld ’13 takes a biographical tour through his father’s record collection, Natalie Fine ’13 tells about what may be the worst restaurant in America, and Mike Rosen ’11 shares a story of Fire Island.
And remember: Speak Your Piece is a show for you to share your writing. If you have any short fiction, poetry, essay, or any other creative writing that you’d like to share on the air, send it in to speakyourpiece(at)wesufm(dot)org.
Gabriel Urbina ’13 wants you to join the new Musical Theatre Collective:
Are you an English major? A music major? A theatre major? A dance major? Have you always held a secret desire to write, choreograph, score, and/or direct an original musical? Have your dreams of Broadway stardom been frustrated by your lack of technical know-how? If you can’t make the meeting but are still interested in participating, email wesmtc[at]gmail.com. Don’t have any experience in writing music? No problem, neither do we.
