Sand Art Party for Project Eye-to-Eye

Do you love coloring in Unicorns and working with children with learning disabilities? If so, Project- Eye to Eye may be the right place for you next year! Project Eye to Eye a national non-profit based out of new york city. Project Eye-To-Eye’s mission is to improve the life of every person with a learning disability. They fulfill their mission by using a mentoring program that uses an art-based curriculum to help every child fulfill their potential. Art is very powerful and can remove a child’s barriers to learning: there are neither rules nor expected outcomes.

Join us for a lively discussion about building and maintaining healthy relationships. Through self-reflection, movement and skills-building, clarify your needs in relationships and learn how to set boundaries and manage conflict.

Help Science Out Reach: Donate Bottles

Julie Platt ’12 wants your soda bottles:

Wesleyan Science Outreach, a club on campus striving towards bringing science into children’s lives, is working on a project. Did you have a big party this weekend? Or just like drinking two-liter bottles of soda on your spare time? If so, donate your empty two-liter bottles to Science Out Reach!

Your soda-drinking ways will be helping children learn science. Look for bins that are located around campus! If you have any more questions, please contact Julie at jrplatt(at)wesleyan(dot)edu.

Apply to be the SART Intern!

Codified following student demand for an administrative response to sexual violence, the SART intern plays a multifunctional role in preventing, responding and educating the Wesleyan community about sexual assault, relationship violence and stalking. The SART intern provides trained peer support to help students navigate on- and off-campus resources and judicial processes. The intern also serves as a liaison among administrative and student groups engaged in sexual assault prevention and response initiatives.

Senior Event Guest Passes

If you are a senior who only wants to buy a ticket to the November 16th Senior Event or a guest of a senior, then come get your Guest Pass this week during Usdan lunch. Monday through Thursday from 12-2 the class council will be selling Guest Passes. Sales are first come, first serve and only 30 will be sold–so hurry over! The guest pass is  priced at $40 and can only be paid in CASH or CHECK.  Just a reminder that there are only 30 Guest Passes and your guest must be 21+ of age. Don’t forget it’s a 1920’s/Great Gatsby themed event!
