Audition for NIGHTMARE

Avenged-Sevenfold-Nightmare-Artwork

Russell Goldman ’17 writes:

Girls and ghouls of every age, wouldn’t you like to be in something strange? NIGHTMARE is a staged adaptation of THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS, adapted and directed by Russell Goldman (some sophomore) and sponsored by Second Stage. Performance dates are November 20-22.

NIGHTMARE follows Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King of Halloweentown, as he discovers a magical new holiday–Christmas. This is the story of the disaster that happened when these two holidays met.

If you want to audition, prepare a song to sing for us, preferably something close to the tone of the film’s music. We’d like that a lot.

Stouck ’15 Drops Brand Spanking New Album + Video

David Stouck ’15, otherwise known by his rap pseudonym Dae, has dropped a bilingual (English+Chinese) concept album based on the story of Jonah and the Whale. It’s called Inherited High and it’s available for download here.

While you are waiting for the album to download, check out this sweet video. And make sure to read more about the album below!!!

Stouck writes the following:

Inherited High is as much an auto-biography as it is a concept album. Based on the Story of Jonah and The Whale, the songs work together to expose the reality of my privileged experience attending private High School in Washington, D.C.

Lunchbox Presents: Solomon’s Last Show

SolomonsLastShow

Well, this is a conflict of interest…

Many French schools still have Wednesdays off. Many are changing this. “How can I explain to my son that he can’t watch cartoons on Tuesday nights anymore,” asked one disgruntled French mother, presumably in French.

You might not have Wednesday off but it is the last day of school.

So come see some sketch comedy! It’s my last show in college!
