Terpsichore Auditions! Dancers and Choreographers Needed!

Terpsichore/Terp Core are having their auditions this Sunday! There are multiple dance groups on campus, but Terpsichore is unique in their concept of introducing dance to the whole Wesleyan community. Here’s some information about them:
Terpsichore is a student run dance company that is dedicated to introducing dance to all members of Wesleyan by organizing a production every semester in which all members of Wesleyan can choreograph and perform.
For DANCERS: There is Terpsichore, which is composed of all the individuals that are in the performances. No matter what kind of dance experience you have or what style you like, there will be a piece in our show for you! In the past couple of years, there has been irish step dance, South indian dance, technical jazz, ballet pointe, tap, introductory dance, and much, much more. For more the more technical dancers, there is also Terp Core, which is comprised of the dancers that organize the venue, provide choreographic advice, and choreograph a dance to conclude the performance with a bang. Auditions for both are on Sunday!

For CHOREOGRAPHERS: We need lots of people that are interested in choreographing! We encourage everyone to try, and to choreograph at any skill level. Whether you want to do tap, modern, jazz, swing, salsa, etc, contact Rebecca Hunt at . Please do so by Friday night! Your idea does not need to be fleshed out, and Terp Core will help you. If you have experience, great! If you don’t, even better! We will give you some!

Random trivia fact: Terpsichore is pronounced “Turp-SIK-uh-ree”
Time: 1-3pm
