Gag Reflex Homecoming Show

cardinalGag Reflex, Wesleyan’s Oldest Improv Comedy Group, is welcoming families for a fun and hilarious improv show this evening!

We perform a style of long-form improv comedy called the Armando, in which, upon receiving a word from the audience, one of us will tell a true-to-life monologue that we will use to inspire the rest of our scenes and stories. Bring your families, bring your friends, bring the people who might be upset if you called them that.

Gag Reflex, Wesleyan’s oldest improv comedy group, is holding auditions! We perform the long-form improv stylings of the Armando, which involves scene and story development based off of true-to-life monologues! We welcome anyone of any skill level to come audition. No preparation necessary.

Date no. 1: Saturday, 9/7, from 2-4pm

Location no. 1: Usdan 110

Date no. 2: Sunday, 9/8, from 4-6pm

Location no. 2: CFA Theater and Dance Studios, Jones Room

Gag Reflex, Wesleyan’s oldest Improv Comedy group, is performing Friday night in the Nics Lounge! 

The group performs the  Armando, a long form comedy style involving insight into the improvers life. Upon receiving a word from the audience, a comedian of Gag Reflex will tell a true-to-life monologue. All following improv will be based on something from that monologue. So if you have an excellent word on hand or just want to see some hilarious improv, check out Gag Reflex this Friday night!
