Keelin Q. Ryan ’14, Goddess of Idaho, queen of the flow chart, writes in with an announcement of great theatrical pertinence:

Come see ‘As You Like It’, directed by Claire Whitehouse ’14! Presented by Second Stage and the Adelphic Education Fund. There are no tickets for this show, so come early to secure your seats; seating is ~limited~.

Starring Jahanara Alamgir ’15, Lina Breslav ’13, Katherine Cohen ’14, Kiko Hernandez ’14, Grace Holland ’15, Leah Khambata ’14, Dana Leib ’14, Olivia May ’14, Max Owen-Dunow ’15, Dylan Penn ’15, Sophie Riffkin ’14, Emily Schwed ’15, Zach Sporn ’15, Robin Tholin ’12, Alex Van Patte ’15.

Auditions for As You Like It [updated with location]

Second Stage Presents: As You Like It, by William Shakespeare, directed by Claire Whitehouse. Performances are November 10-12. Auditions will be held Monday and Tuesday from 7pm-10pm in the Jones Room in the theater studios. Callbacks will be at the same time on Wednesday.

BOTH THE AUDITION AND THE CALLBACK WILL BE COLD READINGS. No need to prepare anything, just show up at a quarter hour time (ie, 7, 7:15, 7:30, etc.) and you will be paired with a scene partner and given a side and some time to prepare.

For prospective singers/instrumentalists: The musicians in the play are also characters, so at the first audition, you will do a cold reading like everyone else but you will put on your audition sheet if you are interested in playing music and if so, with what. If you are called back, please prepare a short piece (<1min) in your respective instrument/voice. Musicians we are thinking of are singer, guitarist (if you sing and play guitar, even better, and please audition with a song where you do both), violin, and flute, but if you play any other tonal instrument that fits vaguely into the british folk music world, feel free to audition with that.
