The beautiful and talented Sydney Lewis ’14 has a message for you:
The Wesleyan Doula Project, which was founded last year to provide abortion doula (non-medical support) services to local clinics, is hosting a second fall conference to train a new cohort of doulas!
The training conference, led by educators from the New York Doula Project and Planned Parenthood of Southern New England, will be held November 22-24.
SPACE IS LIMITED and attendance at the info session is mandatory for participation in the November training. At the info session, we will go over the history of the Wesleyan Doula Project, the role of a doula and the expectations of Wesleyan abortion doulas, and our vision for future expansion of the group. There will obviously be snacks.
If you’re passionate about reproductive justice and want to be a badass feminist doula superhero, please attend the info session to learn about our work and get involved!
