WESU Interest Meeting

From Ben Goldberg ’17:

Interested in radio? Want to learn how to record, edit, and produce? Come check out Wesleyan’s free-form radio station at an interest meeting this Thursday, October 9th at 8pm!

There’s so much you can do at the station this year! Podcasts, pre-produced programming, live shows, managing the station, and more! Usually, we just have a DJ Training in both the fall and the spring, but this year, since our staff is growing so quickly, we’re gonna be revamping our training program; we will be offering a Producer’s Training in the fall and our normal DJ Training in the spring.

The meeting will be at the radio station, 45 Broad Street on the 2nd floor; the door is next to Broad Street Books on the left (the one with a yellow WESU sticker on it). If you can’t make it but still want to do radio this semester (which you totally should), email me at personnel[at]wesufm[dot]org.

Woot radio! See ya at the station!

Date: Thursday, October 9
Time: 8-8:30 PM
Place: 45 Broad St. (WESU Offices)

Become a WESU DJ

From Rebecca Seidel ’15

Want to be a part of a incredible community of people dedicated to free-form, alternative radio? Do you have a great idea for a music or public affairs show? Are you the next big radio personality waiting to happen?

Then attend a mandatory info session and train to be a staff member at WESU!

You can choose between these two dates/times for this info session:
-this Sunday, March 2, at 3PM in PAC 001
-next Thursday, March 6, at 7PM in PAC 002

Training consists of six mandatory once-a-week, one-hour sessions, beginning this weekend and ending in the beginning of May. You have the option of attending these sessions either on Sundays at 3PM or on Thursdays at 7PM.
