Benefit Dinner/Party at Mondo Middletown Restaurant

Come on down to Mondo (right next to Rite-Aid on Main St.) for our first MINDS Foundation Benefit Event of the semester! There will be unlimited appetizers (wings, fries, mozzarella sticks, salad), followed by unlimited pizza (plain, veggie, and 3 specials). Also: amazing draft beers for $2.00, house red wine and white wine for $4.00. At 10 pm The MINDS Foundation Presents: DJ DARKSLOPE and PARADISE STOMP

Acapella Benefit Concert

As part two of the Haiti benefit concert series (part one being the concert at Psi U last Friday), there will be an acapella concert in the Memorial Chapel this Thursday, featuring some of campus’s best singers.  Tickets will be available at the door or during lunch Wednesday and Thursday in Usdan.

Friends of Africa Benefit Concert



The Wesleyan Friends of Africa are putting on a benefit concert to raise money to build a school for girls in the Kibera slum in Kenya. So, if you want to rock out to some sick reggae, soul, rock, and funk, AND feel like a great person because you helped a little girl in Kenya get an education, then come to Psi U Friday at 10:15 with $4, or buy tickets in advance for $3.

Two student bands will perform, Banish the Rabbit (Rock/Reggae/Jam Band ) and Barefoot Junction (Funk/Soul), along with a band made up of Wes alums, Mamarazzi (above).
