We know you got it. It’s that time of the year, and we know you got it. Stuck to your eyelashes, filed in between your papers. In the side pocket of your gym bag.
Love. Summer love. Unrequited love. Puppy love. In your left armpit. Erotic love. First love. Forbidden love. Next to your bedside table. We know you got it, for someone. And though we probably aren’t the ones that distract you from your morning cereal, we want you to give us some of it.
Stop by the Usdan tables, this Sunday at brunch, and write a love letter to that stranger you look out for at parties but you’ve never known how to approach. That best friend who has your back in the middle of the night, in the middle of the week. Your momma because she’s your momma. That someone who never treated you right. That someone you never knew how to treat right. We are collecting the love letters for a public art project, soon to come, so better to make them anonymous. Come hang out with us–we’ll have treats–and maybe a little love to offer you, too. Questions mchang(at)wesleyan(dot)edu or jslevine(at)wesleyan(dot)edu.
Wesleyan is in the throws of a massive power outage! For any regular lunchers, this would mean the cancellation of carefully laid plans. Lunchtime with Mark and Scott is an ambitious podcast about two college students eating lunch.
