In a move that has been largely ignored/downplayed by mass media and is (unfortunately) destined to go nowhere, Dennis Kucinich (D, OH) last night introduced articles of impeachment against George W. Bush, and spent 4 hours reading them to the House. (Kucinich last year introduced similar articles against Dick Cheney.)

Nancy Pelosi still refuses to support impeachment though, saying that doing so would be divisive–and although I would like to see Bush and Cheney impeached, I think she does have a point. And this certainly isn’t a time when the Democratic party needs to be more divided.
