Ever wanted to farm & learn about crops in an informal setting? Maybe you want to get your hands dirty ;)

Long Lane presents SPRING SEMESTER INTEREST MEETING FOR NEWBIES AND OLD-TIMERS!

Whatever the appeal is, we want to see your face (and the rest of your body) at 41 Wyllys room 110 at 4:30 on Sunday for a brief interest meeting.

Come with questions or smiles and you will be rewarding with answers AND…smiles :D

Come out to Long Lane Farm this Saturday for some reading period stress release (nothing takes your mind off of impending finals like some good ol’ fashioned farming). This will be our BIGGEST, BADDEST, work day yet! We will continue to beautify our fruit tree slope, fix up the coop to help protect our lil chicken friends, mulching our herb spiral, and taking our annual holiday card picture! Cookies will be provided for some extra farming fuel. We will be meeting outside of WeShop at 10 am to head over. See y’all there!

First Workday at Long Lane Farm

Amy Mattox ’17 invites you to farm:

Do you like dirt? Chickens? Watermelons? Tomatoes? How about more dirt? Sunflowers? Fresh air? Wheelbarrows? Cute people in overalls? Thankfully you can have this AND more at Long Lane Farm! We are having our first workday of the year this saturday, from 10-2! Bring your bodies and your souls, bring your fearless green thumbs and starry eyes!
This is the perfect time to come out if you’ve never visited the farm before, whether you’re new to campus or very, very old!!!!

“Work Party” at Long Lane Farm

Not to be confused with the Workers’ and Labour Parties of the world, the earliest fête ever to have existed at Wesleyan, from Will Curran-Groome ’14:

Workday tomorrow up at the farm from 10-2, there’ll be harvesting, and hoop-house fun, and chicken loving, and other people too. Bring your family members and friends!
