Help the Environment and your Wardrobe!

Mother Teresa ’13 is letting hir humanitarian tendencies all hang out there:

Do us all a favor and get rid of those cargo shorts you’ve had since the summer ’05. We are collecting clothes for a sale that will be held on Earth Day (April 22nd). We will be selling them at great prices and all proceeds will be donated to the Connecticut Fund for the Environment. Clothes can be donated in boxes located in each laundry room around campus. If you have too many clothes or are just too lazy to move them, email gkuipersATwesleyanDOTedu and we will come get your clothes from your room!

Date: April 14 – April 21
Time: This  field is pointless, so here’s something entertaining.

Beta clothing drive: this week!

Tim Devane ’09 sends this in on behalf of Beta:

It’s really really cold outside. And snowed a lot tonight. What if you didn’t have a jacket to wear?

The Brothers of Beta Theta Pi are sponsoring a clothing drive this week, in order to collect and donate clothing for those in the Middletown area who can’t stay warm this winter.

All clothing will be donated to the Eddy Homeless Shelter in Durham, CT on Friday March 6th.

Look for the red boxes in Wesshop, Pi cafe, the Science Center, Usdan, PAC, North College, and all dorms this week: March 2nd to March 6th.

It takes a few seconds to donate used clothing that you don’t wear or doesn’t fit you, it can mean survival to those who receive these donations. Please donate!

What: Beta Theta Pi Snowed In: Clothing Drive 2009
Where: Red Boxes all over campus
When: Monday March 2nd to Friday March 6th
