Collective Motion (CoMo) will be holding auditions this Thursday 10/8 from 5-6pm and Friday 10/9 from 6-7pm, both in Schonberg Dance Studio. Come to one of these sessions, prepared to move! All types of movers are encouraged to come audition. We will also be facilitating movement workshops this upcoming school year, so if you have any questions, or would like more info about any of our events, please feel free to email us (rmanayan[at]wesleyan[dot]edu or lgonsalves[at]wesleyan[dot]edu). It’s that time of year again: trees are blossoming, baseball players are donning their tight pants, bros are barbecuing on Foss, and Collective Motion is hosting its annual spring show! In honor of Earth Day, we will be getting our hands (and feet, and shins) dirty as we take the performance outside and onto the CFA green.

For those of you who don’t know, Collective Motion is a contemporary dance group that emphasizes original choreography, improv, and creative movement of all sorts. Come see us bring our mission to life!

Collective Motion, a contemporary dance group on campus, is hosting a new round of auditions. We’re looking for choreographers, improv-ers, and those of you just looking for a venue to flaunt your skillz, so come and dance with us.

There will be two sessions, one from 6-7 pm and one from 7-8 pm.

Collective Motion Presents: Miss You Later

Collective Motion is a new dance group on campus, and this weekend is its first ever performance! Miss You Later combines dance with poetry, play text, and song in order to examine the necessary balance between being alone and reaching for contact with others. The show is informal and short and the dancing is awesome! If you love watching people dance, come see Miss You Later on Friday or Saturday night at 8pm in the WestCo Cafe, and look out for Collective Motion in future semesters!

No tickets needed, just show up by 8!
