Genna DeGroot ’15 hates kids and art:

Like children’s books? Interested in learning how to make one? Well hot diggity are you in luck because Amy Bloom, Wesleyan’s author in residence, is teaching her amazing course on “Creating Children’s Books” in the spring. This is a really fun and challenging workshop class that allows students to develop their storytelling and illustration skills, culminating in the creation of their very own children’s book at the end of the semester.

Check the course description on wesmaps. We’re accepting (informal) applications for the class November 3rd—just send an email to amy(at)amybloom(dot)com and gdegroot(at)wesleyan(dot)edu to express your interest in the class and set up an interview. Interviews start November 10th!

I’ll be hosting an information session about the class at 5pm on November 4th in the Shapiro Creative Writing Center to answer any questions you guys might have about the class—come by!

Date: November 4
