For three months we will bring together founders, a mentorship network, and a host of learning opportunities in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas to see what’s possible when big ideas are given the time, resources, and opportunity to percolate.

Josh Levine ’12 Talks Venture For America

From the super cool Adam Rashkoff ’13:

Once you graduate, do you want to take a job that teaches you valuable career skills, puts you in with a supportive peer group, encourages you to think creatively, and empowers you to contribute to social good?

If you answered YES to these questions, you may be interested in Venture For America, a new nonprofit organization that matches high achieving college students with full-time jobs (read: NOT internships) at start-up companies in cities across the country.

VFA Fellows attend an intense summer training program in broadly applicable business skills (i.e. financial analysis/modeling, project management, sales, search engine optimization/marketing, taking care of business, etc.) before spending two years working at a start-up company that fits their individual skills, interests, and experience. Note that this opportunity is open to students from all majors, and no prior business experience is required.
