Apply to Be the Next Dwight Greene Intern for Diversity and Community Engagement

The Office for Equity and Inclusion is now accepting applications for their next student intern. The commitment is about 4 hours a week at $10 an hour. The Dwight Greene Intern for Diversity and Community Engagement works closely with Dean Renee Johnson-Thornton and Dean Antonio Farias on issues of diversity and inclusion around campus. The Intern organizes multiple events, communicates with student groups, and furthermore digs into the tough diversity issues that persist on our campus. Please submit a one page statement explaining why you want to be the Dwight Greene Intern and what past experience/skills you have. Applications should be emailed to Dean Renee Johnson-Thornton by Monday May 5th at noon.

Seeking New Dwight Greene ‘70 Oral History Intern

The Office of Equity and Inclusion is looking for a new Dwight Greene ‘70 Oral History Intern.

The Oral History Project is dedicated to collecting the stories of Wesleyan alumni. As an intern, you are responsible for reaching out to alumni of color and interviewing them about their experiences and moments that defined their time at Wesleyan. All interviews are video or voice recorded with the interviewee’s consent.

This paid internship requires about four hours a week. We are looking for someone who is an independent worker, creative, and of course, interested in oral history! If you would like to apply for this position or would like to see some of our recent work, please email Yatta Zoker ’14 (yzoker[at]wesleyan[dot]edu) or Noor Tell ’14 (ntell[at]wesleyan[dot]edu) by April 4th.
