Give Back by Working with the Elderly

Melina Aguilar ’10 writes in to tell us about an opportunity to give back by working with the elderly:

Be part of the Office of Community Service Volunteer Elderly Programs

Make a difference in someone’s life, learn life lessons and feel good about yourself. Spend a couple of hours with our most precious population. Opportunities to volunteer include: Friday afternoon visits to play games and get to meet the fun residents on One MacDonough Place. Participate or help coordinate the annual International Dessert Fair at the Senior Center. Other opportunities include visits to the ladies at St. Luke’s Home and assistance to other seniors in the Middletown community.
