From the forever sassy and always classy Justin Greene ’16:
et al., Wesleyan’s student-run all-fiction prose publication is accepting submissions (2500 word limit) until Friday, February 27th, 2015.
et al. provides a tangible medium for the celebration of student fiction. Our mission is to embrace our namesake and emphasize the collaborative nature of the creative process. We bridge the gap between author and editor through one-on-one meetings, culminating in a print anthology at the end of the year. New stories, old stories, short stories, flash fiction, comics: give them to us at etalsubmissions(at)gmail(dot)com. Get published. It’s fun. Also, if you’re interested in the editorial/layout side of things, send an email to jigreene(at)wesleyan(dot)edu.
Deadline: Friday, February 27th
Send to: etalsubmissions(at)gmail(dot)com
Oh yes, Jack Spira ’16, tell me about your fiction. I want the fiction:
et al.: URGE is currently taking submissions for our spring publication! Like, shit’s gonna get real. If you want to submit, first, tell all of your friends about it; we want this to be contagious. Then, attach your story in an email to etalsubmissions(at)gmail(dot)com. We’ll take fiction, dramatic writing, and comic books. It should be related to the theme, URGE, but just make sure to submit. If it’s good, it’ll be in there.
We’re taking submissions throughout the Winter Break, so make sure to spend all that extra time writing as much as you can! We can’t wait to see what you come up with. Seriously, if you don’t submit, when you see the magazine in May, you will regret it. There’s not a joy in the world like seeing and idea you constructed turned into something material, and knowing hundreds of people will read it.
Deadline: January 15th, 2014
Facebook event? Facebook event.

If you have any interest in submitting fiction, editing fiction, working some layout design or seeing my beautiful face, I implore you to come. We’ll be discussing and creating editorial procedures, submission guidelines and whatever other relevant things come up. There will be Cards Against Humanity after. In the words of Jack Spira ‘16, “we gonna have ourselves a baller-ass time.” Can’t make it? No worries; shoot an email to either jigreene[at]wesleyan[dot]edu or jspira[at]wesleyan[dot]edu.
