This semester WesBAM! is bigger an badder than ever: With 7 yoga instructors, 5 HIIT and Kung Fu instructors, and 3 Zumba instructors we have something for all skill levels and interests!

Wesleyan Body and Mind (WesBAM) is a student group dedicated to health and fitness on campus. Entirely run by students, the club provides a variety of weekly courses to ensure that healthy living is fun and accessible for students of all body types and abilities.

Fitness Classes for Free?! That’s right. September 14th-20th WesBAM! is hosting Promotional Week! Come try out all of our group exercise and yoga classes for FREE as we kick-off the Fall 2013 Semester.
WesBAM! is a student-run organization that makes mind-body awareness and fitness accessible at Wesleyan through offering classes in a wide variety of practices – yoga, kickboxing, spin, Zumba, and more. We believe these practices should be accessible to everyBODY and are committed to helping students incorporate them into the college lifestyle. Hey 2017! Interested in exploring Middletown? Interested in going for a bike ride? Interested in meeting some of the awesome people from the Sustainability Office? This is the event for you! Come meet us out front of Exley at 1pm on Sunday and come for a nice leisurely bike ride through Middletown. We’ll be pointing out good restaurants to eat at and we’ll catch you up on the sustainability groups and initiatives that are active at Wesleyan. Please bring your own bike and helmet (or borrow a friend’s), we’ll see you there!

Want to take fitness classes? Want to try them for FREE?! Well, good news – WesBAM! is back and kicking off the semester with a week of free classes. Meet all of our awesome instructors and try any of our classes – whether it be Zumba, CardioKickboxing, Krav Maga, TurboKick, or one of our many yoga disciplines. All classes cater to beginners, and no prior experience or fitness level is required. Feeling a little stir-crazy from lounging around inside for the past two days? Feeling the urge to get your mind off of work and to just have a dance party?
Then come on down TONIGHT to Fayerweather 108 at 6:30 for Zumba, as a part of WesBAM!!
Zumba combines Latin and International music with a fun and effective workout system.
Additionally, this week to promote the class a little more, it’s…BRING-A-FRIEND WEEK!!!!!! If you bring a friend to class today or tomorrow, it’s $3 for each of you (instead of the normal $5 drop-in rate!!!). So spread the word, share the love, join the party!
All levels welcome!
