From Casey Smith ’17:
Alissa Goldberg is shooting her thesis film this weekend (the 23rd and 24th), and she needs extras. We need 35-40 people who would be willing to film those two days. What do you get? Free food, fun, and a chance to see your face on the big screen. You also get to see how films work behind the scenes and meet really cool people. Bring your homework if you’d like. If you’re interested, email either cksmith(at)wesleyan(dot)edu or eaarchibald(at)wesleyan(dot)edu.
Dates: Saturday, November 23rd–Sunday, November 24th, 2013
Time: 8AM–8 PM
Place: On-campus; if you email us, we will let you know where you need to be and when.
Cost: FREE FOOD
Michael Steves ’13 is full o’ the milk of human kindness:
Second Stage’s production of Macbeth, which goes up May 3rd, 4th, and 5th, is seeking extras to be in a battle scene and in a few transition sequences. If you’ve been looking for an easy way to get involved in student theater, this is a great chance! The time commitment is minimal and you’ll get to meet a bunch of fun people. Contact me at msteves(at)wesleyan(dot)edu if you’re interested in being an extra in the show. No theater experience necessary.
Want to be seen in a senior thesis film? Have your name up in the bright lights of the Goldsmith theater projector? Hang out on the set of a musical film?
Come to the World Music Hall this Sunday, Nov. 13 at 4:15 PM! It’ll be fun, it’ll be (hopefully) quick, and you’ll have something to talk to your relatives about around the turkey table. Please wear a black shirt/blouse/jacket/dress of some kind.
Contact Blair Laurie (blaurie@wes) or Adrian Rothschild (drothschild@wes) with any questions you have. Hope to see you there!
