The Freeman Asian Scholars Association is hosting an event with “4 Freeman Asian Scholars alumni (including one of the very first class of Freeman Scholars, and one who just graduated last May!), who will share about their lives after Wesleyan and help answer your questions regarding career and future education plans” tomorrow as part of Homecoming Weekend 2011.
The alumni include Pao-Lin Tien ’99, Assistant Professor of Economics at Wesleyan University; Wichuda “Tang” (Wichaidit) McConnell ’02, Service Coordinator at the Department of Health’s Early Intervention Program, freelance translator, and photographer; Ivy Chen ’09, 3rd year PhD student in Biomedical Science, University of Connecticut Health Center; and Mikako Tai ’11, Executive Assistant to the President & CEO at The Africa-America Institute.
Refreshments will be served.
