What is Throw Culture? Many have asked. All that is certain is that there is frisbee, some silly, and a whole lot of fun. Come hang out with Wesleyan’s coed frisbee team! We do many things included but not limited to: frisbee, wearing jorts, telling childhood stories, and frisbee. No previous experience is required! Want to learn how to huck? Vicious Circles, the Wesleyan Women’s Ultimate Frisbee, is here to teach you the tricks of the trade. Bring some water, cleats or sneakers, a white and dark shirt, and your game face to the Butts Parking Lot tomorrow, Tuesday 9/2 at 4:10 PM.

We will discuss our pre-season workouts, awesome spring break trip (which you could still sign up for!), regular season practice and game schedule, parties, and why you should join this incredibly fun club sport. Come try out for the Men’s Ultimate Frisbee Team. It’s fun, will eventually be competitive, is often exciting, and usually worthwhile.

We’ll be at the bottom of Foss Hill on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 4:00 until about 6:30. If you’re interested, please show up with cleats, a light shirt, a dark shirt, and water.

Ultimate Peace Pick-up Frisbee Tournament

Gabe Frankel ’15, the ultimate frisbee champion pictured above, invites you to organize an ultimate team in the next forty-ish minutes:

Come out today at 2:00 pm to DTD (fields behind WesWings) to play some relaxed ultimate frisbee. Bring yourself and/or a team of 7-9.

We’re traveling to Israel this summer through a Projects for Peace Grant to help organize ultimate frisbee for Israeli and Palestinian youth. But we need your help to get to the promised land. See you there!

The bake sale space has been booked. We’ll be in the Exley Lobby (on the Church st. side) this Monday night, February 28th, from 11pm-12:30am. Take a study break and come eat some yummies to sustain yourself into the wee hours of midterm week.  I’m making bagels.
