Peacekeeping missions, which originally responded to global and regional politics during the Cold War, have since evolved into
strategic tools to address diverse international conflicts. This talk will discuss the shape of peace operations today and what the future might hold.

Professor Bill Flavin is a professor at the U.S. Army War College and the Division Chief of the Doctrine, Concept, Education, and Training Division in the Peacekeeping and Stability Operations Institute.

This event is sponsored by the Wesleyan Government Department and organized by students on the Government Majors’ Committee.
