This Saturday, Wes Habitat for Humanity will be volunteering at the Middlesex County ReStore–a Habitat facility that sells donated furniture, building materials, home improvement supplies and more, with all profits going towards building beautiful new homes for families in need. We’ll be volunteering from 2pm to 5pm this Saturday, April 2nd. If you’d like to be part of it, email fcjones@wes as soon as possible! The van will depart from the OCS parking lot at 2pm.

Wes Habitat for Humanity has an incredible opportunity to volunteer in Johns Island, South Carolina during the first week of Spring Break (March 5-12) and needs your help to make it happen! Help the Homeless & the Environment!
Interested in volunteering with Habitat for Humanity this semester? Come to an informational meeting this Tuesday, February 1st at 7:30pm in Usdan 110 to find out more! This semester we’ll be working with Middlesex County’s branch of Habitat at their brand-new ReStore! The ReStore recycles usable building materials and furniture and sells them at discounted prices!
We’ll also be discussing tentative plans to participate in a build this Spring Break in an Alabama town that continues to suffer from the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Contact fcjones(at)wesleyan(dot)edu with any questions.

Do some good this Saturday afternoon! Wesleyan’s branch of Habitat for Humanity will be making its first trip to volunteer at the Middlesex County ReStore this Saturday 12/4! The ReStore is a top-notch re-sale outlet that collects donated, recycled and lightly-used home improvement and construction materials and sells them at discounted prices. All of the proceeds go toward building new houses for needy families in the county! We will be meeting at 1:45pm at the Office of Community Service’s parking lot and will return around 6pm.
