Like science? Interested in teaching kids? Volunteer for Wesleyan Science Outreach, the club that provides after-school science enrichment to the Middletown elementary schools! Come to our interest meeting to find out more.

First Meeting of the Woodrow Wilson Debate Society

ATTN ALL MASTER DEBATERS: The first meeting of the Woodrow Wilson Debate Society is this coming Monday. We are a society that dates back to our founding by Woody himself, when he was a prof at Wes for a hot sec. Now we compete on the APDA (American Parliamentary Debate Association) circuit and frequently road trip to other schools for tournaments! Includes more sex, drugs, and rock-n-roll than Mock Trial!!!

Eye to Eye Information Meeting

Eye to Eye will be having an information meeting tonight. More from Ariel Jacobson ’15 and Emily Moody ’15:

Do you have a learning disability or ADHD? Do you have an hour a week to mentor a child? Then you should check out Eye to Eye!

Eye to Eye is the only national mentoring program pairing kids with learning disabilities (LD) and ADHD with similarly labeled college
students. Using a weekly art-based curriculum, our mentors help kids with LD/ADHD to value their own unique minds, build their self-esteem, and give them skills to become self-advocates. No artistic skill is required, just enthusiasm.
