Film Series: Inherent Vice

2014. USA. Dir: Paul Thomas Anderson. With Joaquin Phoenix. 148 min.

Film Series: Her

2013. USA. Dir: Spike Jonze. With Joaquin Phoenix, Scarlett Johansson. 126 min.

Jonze may have (justifiably) won the Oscar for his screenplay, but the film also boasts some gorgeous use of color and a great score courtesy of Arcade Fire.
