Come audition for Mabuhay, the annual Asian/Asian-American show! The first round of auditions for Mabuhay will be in Fayerweather 106 (the theater rehearsal room) on February 6th and 7th from 1 pm to 5 pm. To audition, sign up for a time slot on the attached google spreadsheet and then email dkim03(at)wes to confirm your audition time. Each slot will be 15 minutes long, so please plan your tryout to fit that time limit.
Any and all acts welcome! You don’t need a completed, brushed-up act for the first round of auditions. Just come with a rough draft or even an idea! Although it helps if you have something to show us, even if it’s just a youtube video.
The Mabuhay Committee is holding emcee auditions for the annual Asian/Asian American Show next week, Sunday March 1st! Come with ideas and your awesome personality. Email alouie@wes to sign up for a time slot!
What: EMCEE Auditions for Mabuhay When: Sunday, March 1st Where: Fayerweather Rehearsal Hall
Those of you who have attended/participated in the annual Asian/Asian American Cultural Show, Mabuhay, probably remembered how it was kicked off by traditional LION DANCE. We are coming back this year with new members and new moves. No experience required, come out to meet some new friends, carry some lion heads and dance to the noisy, cheerful drums and gongs!!!!
The Mabuhay Committee reminds students that auditions for the once-a-year, Wesleyan Asian/Asian American Show are coming up in February! For best chances, students interested in participating should start planning and choreographing now.
