Mabuhay Auditions in Fayerweather

From Chino Kim ’10:

Come audition for Mabuhay, the annual Asian/Asian-American show! The first round of auditions for Mabuhay will be in Fayerweather 106 (the theater rehearsal room) on February 6th and 7th from 1 pm to 5 pm. To audition, sign up for a time slot on the attached google spreadsheet and then email dkim03(at)wes to confirm your audition time. Each slot will be 15 minutes long, so please plan your tryout to fit that time limit.

Any and all acts welcome! You don’t need a completed, brushed-up act for the first round of auditions. Just come with a rough draft or even an idea! Although it helps if you have something to show us, even if it’s just a youtube video.

  1. Open the link above and fill in a time slot.
  2. Email dkim03 (at) wes confirming the time slot you choose.
  3. Come to the auditions! Come prepared!! Bring all the necessary media that you need to show us your performance.

The second round of auditions will be Feb. 27th and 28th, and performers will have to go through the first round of auditions to get to the second.

If you’re interested in being an emcee, keep a look out for separate emcee auditions. The show will be Friday, April 16th

The Mabuhay Committee reminds students that auditions for the once-a-year, Wesleyan Asian/Asian American Show are coming up in February! For best chances, students interested in participating should start planning and choreographing now.
