Audition for MadLibs: the Musical

From Arie Levine ’11:

Do you like MadLibs?  Do you like to sing?  Do you want a project to work on early in the semester before things get too crazy?  If you answered yes to these questions, then you should audition for MadLibs: themusical!

MadLibs is a cabaret-style show with a twist! All of the songs with be performed as MadLibs, with the audience filling in words along the way.  The show goes up Valentine’s Day weekend, so it’ll be a quick rehearsal process.  We’re eager to see singers performing any genre of music: musical theatre, pop, jazz, rock, classical etc. If you’ve got a monologue or poem you think would work for this show, we’d be happy to see it too!

For the auditions, please bring in any song that showcases your voice, it doesn’t necessarily have to be the song you would want to perform in the show. There will be an accompanist and a piano, so you have the choice to be accompanied or sing a cappella. Choices are great. And show up!
