Queer Community Meeting Tonight

The wonderful Marissa Castrigno ’15 wants you to know:

Wesleyan’s queer community and its allies are invited to discuss this week’s topic (probably queer bodies but don’t set your heart on it yet), share their personal experiences, raise questions/concerns, chat, bond, hang out, shmooze, juggle flaming tennis balls (not really), and generally have fun. We will also be running through events upcoming in October (Pride Month) to continue the process of planning and organizing. See you there!

Special Outin’ Club Meeting Tonight

Same as always, Outing Club meetings will be held for the rest of the semester at 10pm every Tuesday, at Outhouse (132 High Street). Talk about the Great Outdoors of Connecticut, how many of the Metacomet Ridge summits you’ve been to recently and where the best climbing trees on campus are.

Want a little more snow and ice in your life? This week’s meeting (aka today) is special because at 9pm, there’s gonna be a sweet slideshow by Professor Brian Glenn ’91 about his epic climb up Mt. Denali!

From May 22 to June 10, 2009, Prof. Brian J. Glenn ’91 climbed Mt. Denali (20,320ft) in Alaska—wearing a Wesleyan hat no less!
