Join Wesleyan’s moistest, most bedraggled a cappella group in Wesleyan’s House Of The Lord as we showcase our most perfectly cultivated facial hair. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and you’ll probably have a cold sweat or two as we assert our powers of preening and outrageous levels of testosterone for the better part of an hour on Thursday night.

There will be one five-hour intermission, and five one-hour intermissions.

Hint: Theresa’s coming home.

Movember

This just in in time for No Shave November: Montreal-based non-profit Yellow Bird Project is putting out the call for a blogger to participate in Movember (a somewhat awkward portmanteau of moustache + November).

From what I gather, said blogger would raise awareness about and funds for men’s health issues and in exchange scores some sweet YBP swag and makes weekly posts “chronicling [hir] plight for moustache stardom”.

YBP basically gets indie rock musicians to design t-shirts that benefit charities of their choice, so the merch/blogging exposure might be pretty neat. Heck, I’d give it a shot if I could. Get the details here.
