A Call for Musicians

When Jelisa Adair ’13 calls, you better take heed:

Are you a musician?

Are you looking to become more of a part of the Middletown community?

Are you available any weekday to play a 1-1.5 hour set between the hours of 9:00a-12:00p and 1:00p-5:00p?

If you answered yes to these questions, please consider volunteering with the Community Health Center! We are looking for motivated volunteers who want to commit to playing in the waiting rooms for patients on a weekly or biweekly basis!

For more information, please contact Jelisa Adair ’13 at wesleyanchc(at)gmail(dot)com.

Dates: November 15th – December 31st
Place: Community Health Center

Wanted: Musicians for 1920s Party

Cheryl Tan ’11 wants to swing the night away this Saturday, but needs your help! Your mission, if you choose to accept it:

Alpha Delt will be hosting an awesome 1920s themed event on December 4th, , hot on the heels of Harry and the Potters! We are currently looking for musicians (bands, singers, harmonica players, etc) to play during the event to play 20s stuff. Think Al Jolson, Bessie Smith, Duke Ellington. All the people you’ve always wanted to be.

If you are interested, or require more information, contact cytan at wesleyan.edu.

Just to reiterate, this party will be awesome. Swing dancers. 20s fashion talks. Ken Burns. And all that jazz.
