The Patricelli Center for Social Entrepreneurship and Wesleyan World Wednesdays present Shivani Siroya ’04 as the alumni guest speaker for their program on International Microfinance.
A little info on Siroya: “Shivani Siroya is currently the CEO and Founder of InVenture. InVenture provides simple money management and financial access tools through mobile phones for individuals in emerging markets. InVenture has been recognized by USAID, Vodafone, Bloomberg, TechCrunch and NextBillion. She is a 2013 TED Fellows, 2011 Echoing Green Fellow and 2011 Unreasonable Institute Fellow. She is also a blogger for the Huffington Post, and on the board the LA Chapter of Young Women Social Entrepreneurs.
Shivani holds a M.P.H in Health Economics and International Policy from Columbia University and a B.A. in International Relations from Wesleyan University.”
