WESU’s Fall Pledge Drive is back again, just in time for the cold weather to set in! Listener contributions enable WESU to continue offering incredible programming like The Moondog Matinee which has been playing “oldies” every Saturday morning for nearly forty years. This pledge drive also supports locally produced public affairs shows like Think Twice Radio, a CT “watchdog” media show, and incredible new music shows, like Black Music Matters. To keep this type of unique community programming alive, WESU needs your support.
Following last spring’s successful pledge drive, WESU began implementing upgrades that will improve the service the 6000 watt station provides. Local listeners can now read “WESU 88.1FM – Alternative Radio Since 1939” displayed on their car stereos when tuned in. With your continued support, WESU can continue daily operations and move forward with planned upgrades, which include an exciting revamping of the the station’s studio spaces. During this pledge drive, WESU is also very excited to offer a new brand new limited edition T-shirt design as a gift for donors.
Thanks to the supporters who have already contributed to this effort, WESU is making progress towards their goal. However, the station still needs to raise $12,000 in community support before the end of November to bring this drive to a successfully end. Donations from the people who benefit from the services WESU provides are vital for the station’s continued operation.
Please donate online at www.wesufm.org/pledge or by sending a check to WESU Radio, 45 Broad St, 2nd Fl, Middletown, CT 06457.
The pledge drive runs through the end of this month.
