Seasoned Relay fundraiser and all-around wonderful person Emma Caccamo ’13 writes in to remind y’all of your plans for this Friday in attending Wesleyan’s Relay for Life:

Join us for Wesleyan’s fourth annual Relay for Life: ‘Mardi Gras for More Birthdays,’ this Friday May 3rd from 4pm- 4am in the Usdan Courtyard.  The trademark fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, Relay for Life is an opportunity to come together, celebrate, remember, and fight back against the disease that affects all of us in some way.  Join us for a night of Mardi Gras fun and come check out all the different games and activities—bungee jumping, jousting, and an inflatable obstacle course to name a few.

Performances featuring the Spirits, Anaphylactic Shock, the Breakdance Team, and Prometheus.

And introducing WesRelay’s first annual “Mr. Relay and Melody” Date Auction. Come bid on your favorite seniors to benefit the American Cancer Society. Let the good times roll.

Rho Epsilon Pi Sells Pie for Relay

Rebecca Markell ’14 and Lucy Finn ’14 write in to let y’all know about a chance to have your pie, eat it too, and benefit the American Cancer Society all this week and next week.

Looking for a way to satisfy your sweet tooth AND help save some lives at the same time? We can help! Rho Ep will be selling pies at Usdan lunch and dinner all this week and next (April 22nd-May 2nd)! Proceeds go to Wesleyan Relay for Life. $2 for a slice and $12 for a whole pie!

Though not technically part of ADP’s Alice in Wonderland Week, the coinciding nature of the week’s theme and the impending tag sale could lead one to wonder if the wares being offered might lead you down your very own rabbit hole. From Kim Ladd ’13:

Shopping fanatic? Buy stuff from our attic! Alpha Delt is hosting a tag sale this week to raise money for Relay for Life. Books, lamps, clothing, printers, fridges, and more could be yours! Prices range from $1-$10. If you’re by the S&C this week, consider wandering to the Green Room to see what we found in our attic.

Eat Delicious Pie while Helping End Cancer

The ladies of Rho Epsilon Pi have been selling pie in Usdan since last Thursday in an effort to raise money for Relay for Life. Today, they will sell pies for the last day until their pie eating contest on 4/20, ahem the day of Relay for Life. So now, you can combine two things you love: eating great pie and fighting to end cancer. Slices of pie are available for $2, while whole pies (8 slices) are available for $12. Trust me, you won’t want to miss these pies. So, stop by the tables in Usdan from 12 to 2 p.m. or from 5 to 7 p.m. today, and bring your cash!

Relay for Life – Calling All Bands!

Wesleyan’s annual Relay for Life is seeking bands willing to perform at the event the night of April 20th! Relay for Life is a great opportunity to showcase your band and enjoy a fun night while raising money for the American Cancer Society. Relay for Life of Wesleyan is fast approaching! We will have a mechanical bull, assorted inflatables, performers, and your favorite food carts! Get excited to fight cancer!

April 20th in the Usdan Courtyard starting at 6pm! Bring your friends, a tent, and cash! Register your team today. Its easy!

Also, we are looking for people who would be interested in speaking at the event about a personal experience with cancer, or in helping at the event.

Relay for Life Kickoff!

Natalie Wildenradt ’15 wants you to come out to Usdan during lunch on Wednesday for the Relay for Life Kickoff!

Relay for Life is a non-competitive walking event filled with music, fun, and friends- all to raise money for the American Cancer Society. It will be held April 20th-21st, but be sure to come out this Wednesday to register your teams and help make this year’s event as successful as last year’s (we raised $50,000!).

So come out, wear purple, and get excited!

Relay for Life Kick-Off

Relay for Life of Wesleyan is having their first Kick-Off event of the year Wednesday, November 30th at Usdan lunch. Come register your team for this awesome spring walking event that raises money for the American Cancer Society.

Last year, Wes Relay raised almost $50,000 and won the New England wide award for biggest growth. Help us make this year even better by registering today!
