Psi U Seeks Summer Boarders

From the always slender Simon Edmonds-Langham ’14:

Planning to live in Middletown over the summer? Then you should take a look at the beautiful building that houses the brothers of Psi Upsilon. Rent is $300/month.

Please e-mail sedmondslang(at)wesleyan(d0t)edu if interested.

WesBikes wants you!

Charmaine Chen ’12, perhaps the only person who still believes David Schwimmer is worth anything more than a penny, writes in:

We are looking for two underclassmen to coordinate the distribution and collection of our WesBikes fleet this semester, as well as train for the position of director of the program next semester.

This is a great opportunity (especially for freshmen) to develop a greater understanding of how to work with Physical Plant, Student Accounts, Public Safety and the WSA.

If interested, please email wesbikes(at)gmail(dot)com by Sunday, September 11th with the following:

Audition for RENT!

Submitted by Tamar Glatman Zaretsky ’12:

Audition for Second Stage’s production of RENT this semester! Sign up at the Theater Studio’s bulletin board. Walk-ins are welcome, but those signed up will be seen first. You will need:

  • A song of your choice. There will be no accompaniment, so be comfortable a cappella.
  • A 2-4 minute monologue. We would prefer a personal story so we can both get to know a bit about you and see how you perform prose. If you are uncomfortable with a personal performance, we will accept a prepared monologue from a play of your choice.

Auditions will be Wednesday, January 26 from 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM, OR Thursday, January 27 from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM.

  • Dates: Wednesday, January 26 OR Thursday, January 27
  • Times: 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM OR 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Respectively)
  • Place: Fayerweather 106 (Theater Rehearsal)
  • Facebook Event: Click here.
