To all you science-lovers, Rachel Olfson ’14 would like you to come learn about a neat way to engage with the outside-Wesleyan community:
Do you like the warm- fuzzy feeling of volunteering to teach children? Do you think science is awesome? Have you always wanted to taste liquid nitrogen ice cream? If so, come learn more at the Wesleyan Science Outreach information session next Monday. The club teaches interactive, hands-on lesson plans designed by Wesleyan students to kids who attend afterschool programs at five different local elementary schools, including Macdonough School, Wilbert Snow Elementary School, Spencer School and more!
Volunteering can be done any day of the week (except weekends) from 4pm-5:45pm.
When: Monday, Feb. 6, 8:30 PM – 9:15 PM
Where: Usdan 108
