An urgent yet hilarious message for all musically inclined individuals who wish they could be Eastern European folk singers from Nathan Shane ’13:
You know you want to be a part of Wesleyan’s bestest, zaniest, hottest, oldest, prestigious-est Eastern European singing ensemble! And guess what? You can be. That’s right, Slavei is having auditions this Wednesday from 4:30-6:30 in Usdan 108. You do not need to prepare a song — just come as yourself and we’ll do some singing and a little talking and generally just have a good time.
Slavei sings some of the craziest/most interesting music that you will ever hear in your life. You will probably not get a chance to sing in an ensemble like this outside of Wesleyan, so you should do it!
We’re also the a capella group that uses the most instruments.
Date: Today, January 30
Time: 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Place: Usdan 108
Author’s note: Slavei is awesome. If you’re interested in a capella, audition for this.
