The Ascension of James: A Slender James Concert
From the illustrious Nate “Neepaz” Repasz ’14:
Slender James was formed in a simulation of 2011 under the auspices of a cosmic DOYCE. Since then, it has developed several norms and regenerative properties.
Yet, as all self-sustaining entities must, the James now prepares to forfeit its progenitors to ensure the future of its progeny. And so, as the eve of the Ascension approaches, we supplicate you to watch a swan song, as we step aside for our supplanters.
In other words, come listen to us sing songs as we send our six seniors into the sunset.
James Ascended. James eternal. James bless.

Everyone I’ve talked to since the start of the semester has told me that the one thing hir break lacked was a performance by two all-male a cappella groups from Wesleyan and Princeton, respectively. Simon Riker ’14 must have overheard all of these conversations:

You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and you’ll probably have a cold sweat or two as we assert our powers of preening and outrageous levels of testosterone for the better part of an hour on Thursday night.

To audition, please:
1. Prepare a solo; something contemporary. A verse and a chorus should be just fine, or about minute of music.

Slender James’ First Ever Solo Show!
It’s a Slim Jim Slam Jam! Come out to Exley and join Skinny Jimmy (Wesleyan’s most attractive all-male a capella group) as we make our second stop (in as many days!) on our Wesleyan University tour! Refreshments will be served–vocal refreshments! But actually, food provided–food for your ears! Let Thin Jimbo wow your face off–for less than an hour, because we are considerate of your time!
