Unlocked Magazine is For Sale and NSFW

Miriam Olenick ’13 writes in about the campus publication most likely to elicit amusing reactions from your parents this weekend (yes, that’s the cover pictured above):

Unlocked, Wesleyan’s art and sexuality magazine, is HAWT off the press and ready for purchase. Copies are $5 a piece, but if you can show me where your work/sexy modeling is you get a free copy!

Sam Maldonado ’13, Stefan Skripak ’13, and I will be selling copies from our respective homes until we get kicked out of this place on Monday. If you’re not here for senior week, Unlocked will be selling again at the beginning of next semester. We’re sorry for the delayed gratification — we had a bit of a struggle with our printers.

Unlocked Magazine Accepting Submissions

Hey sexy Wesleyans,

Unlocked Magazine, Wesleyan’s student-run art and sexuality magazine, is accepting submissions for our spring issue! We want your poetry literotica, opinion or humor pieces, interviews, essays, top ten lists and general debauched prose. We’re also looking for photography, drawings, paintings, etc.

Written submissions are due by March 25th, the first day back after break, and should be sent to unlockedmag(at)gmail(dot)com.

If you want to become involved in modeling or shooting for our ongoing photo projects, email unlockedmag(at)gmail(dot)com for more information. The art/photo deadline is April 1st.

We’re looking to get a wide variety of responses, so whatever your stance on virginity—love it, hate it, have it, lost it, regained it, reclaimed it—we’d love to hear from you.

Unlocked Magazine Reemerges with Usdan Sale

Remember when Unlocked convened its first meeting of the semester last week? Yeah, that was fast. Elizabeth S. ’12 has details:

Starting Monday at lunch, Unlocked Magazine, Wesleyan’s student run art and sexuality magazine, will be selling Apocalypse 2012 themed calendars, as well as back issues of the 2011 Spring Magazine. They’re really awesome, so you should definitely stop on by and check them out. Make sure to bring cash: calendars are $5 each, magazines are $5 each, and the price is $8 total if you buy both a calendar and a magazine at the same time.

You need not get naked to attend Unlocked’s interest meeting tomorrow, but it probably doesn’t hurt.

For all the freshpersons out there (holla), Unlocked is a student publication. About sex. One time it was even featured on the Courant, and Gawker, because Wesleyan is, like, so edgy. From Elizabeth S. ’12:

This Friday (February 17th) Unlocked Magazine, Wesleyan’s student run Sex and Sexuality oriented magazine, will be holding a general interest meeting. Anyone who would like to join our staff or is thinking about contributing to the Spring Issue of the magazine should stop by! We need models, photographers, writers, business interns/organizers, and layout editors. The meeting will be held at 41 Wyllys Avenue (the new Career Center), room 114.
