Collective Motion Presents: Alive

It’s that time of year again: trees are blossoming, baseball players are donning their tight pants, bros are barbecuing on Foss, and Collective Motion is hosting its annual spring show! In honor of Earth Day, we will be getting our hands (and feet, and shins) dirty as we take the performance outside and onto the CFA green.

For those of you who don’t know, Collective Motion is a contemporary dance group that emphasizes original choreography, improv, and creative movement of all sorts. Come see us bring our mission to life!

Precision Ensemble Spring Show: Can’t Get Enough

Come see Precision Ensemble dance in their annual spring performance! It’s exciting to watch and FREE FREE FREE so you have no excuse. Plus Barry White will make an appearance.

Spring Dance Auditions have been rescheduled! HOORAY. Hopefully this time there won’t be another blizzard… You know the drill:

Love to dance? Never Danced before? Want credit for dancing? Want to be part of student choreography? Want to help out the dance majors? Want to perform in the ’92? Want to make friends?

If you are at all interested in any of these things, come audition for Spring Dance! No experience necessary, just come ready to move.

Come to EITHER session one from 5:00-6:00 pm, OR session two from 6:15-7:15 pm.

It’s the End of the World (DANCE DANCE DANCE)

With the end of the world approaching us, it’s only appropriate that we dance “Til the World Ends”, no? Come join the HOTTEST all-girl dance group on campus as we end the year in style and experience a show case that is bound the rock this world! (Literally). ISIS hopes to see you there!

Precision (Troupe and Ensemble) Auditions

Know those three kids in hats dancing their asses off to Dance (Ass)? Know those ten girls who bounced with sass to Valerie?

Well, we want you.

If you are a dancer, like to dance, or think you can dance, come audition for Precision, a collective with two equally awesome sides (Ensemble and Troupe) looking for new members. You can audition for either or both!

Ensemble is a group whose dancers put on, dance in, and choreograph for a yearly performance in the spring. The style is generally contemporary, but we’ve been known to throw in some ballet, jazz, and whatever else comes to mind.

Troupe is a hip-hop group whose dancers also put on, perform in, and choreograph for a performance each semester.

Date: Saturday, October 6
Time: Troupe audition 4-5 pm, Ensemble audition 5-6 pm
Place: Schonberg Dance Studio (on Pine St.)
