First Wesleyan Women in Film Meeting

Wesleyan Women in Film,
 writes in:

Given the fact that film has been a predominantly male-dominated industry, we feel that it is important to create a space on campus where self identified women with a passion for film can celebrate the achievement of female filmmakers. Just as important is the establishment of a supportive network consisting of female-identifying members of the Wesleyan community. We encourage students of all majors to join the group, since part of our mission is to spread the female film love to as many people as possible.

The meeting should be no more than an hour (there WILL be candy), but during that time we’ll be doing some brief introductions and figure out as a group what we’d like to accomplish for the semester. If you can’t make it to the meeting, but would still like to be involved, email Sofia Davila ’16 sdavila[at]wesleyan[dot]edu or Danielle Pruitt ’15 dpruitt[at]wesleyan[dot]edu

Hope to see you there!

Date: Wednesday, October 15th
Time: 7:30pm – 8:30pm
Place: Usdan 110
