Wesleyan Women’s Networking & Conversation Hour

Alexandra Aviv ’16 writes in:

We invite current students, parents, and alumnae to converse, network, and enjoy some light refreshments provided by Thai Gardens and Bon Appetit. Our goal is to help connect Wesleyan Women across class years and to serve as a springboard for discussion around the unique needs of this community. We are looking forward to this event as an opportunity as well to highlight some of the work of various women’s groups on campus.

Women of Color Collective Overnight Retreat 2012

From Kiara Williams-Jones ’12 and the Women of Color Collective:

The Retreat is an annual tradition put on by the Women of Color House & the Collective. We will meet at Usdan at 10:45 AM on Saturday and return to campus by brunch time on Sunday. Transportation & meals will be provided; you will need to bring blanket/sleeping bag, pillow, and an overnight bag.

This is an amazing chance to chill and meet women of color across all the class years and to have some real conversations outside of school’s stressful atmosphere. If you’ve never been before, ask around. Someone you know has been. Even better, it’s free.

If you are interested, it’s not too late! Please sign the form here.
