Let’s Be Still: Restorative Yoga and Meditation Workshop

Join us for a FREE restorative yoga and meditation workshop this Saturday!

We will be exploring a few different restorative yoga poses taught by WesBAM yoga instructor Zandy followed by a body scan meditation and silent sit led by Mindfulness Intern Kate.

We welcome all bodies and encourage all levels of experience.

Pathways to Healing: Retreat for Survivors of Sexual Violence

From Samantha Hellberg ’16:

Created for survivors of sexual violence, the retreat will address the
unique ways that a traumatic experience can impact self-care and
various pathways to healing. The retreat will focus on developing
self-compassion skills through art, discussion, and a gentle yoga
session.

Grab your yoga and cardio clothes and join us for a fun-filled weekend of workshops, classes and alumni as Shira Engel ’14 and Renee Dunn ’14 – co-founders of WesBAM! – are returning home. There’s a lot of stuff going on: Shira and Renee are co-teaching Founder’s Flow, Shira is teaching two yoga classes and Renee is teaching a yoga class and a fusion cardio kickboxing/total body conditioning class. AND GUESS WHAT?! It’s all FREE! A complete lineup and description of events are posted below! Class descriptions are after the jump.

The Month of Mindfulness started off with a bang! If you missed the first week though, there are plenty of opportunities to be mindful this month.

Monday (2/10) from 6:30 to 8:15 in Usdan 108, there will be a sleep specialist coming to Wesleyan. This will include a FREE dinner, a talk about sleep on college campuses, yoga and sleep related goodies. Bring your friends!
