WesBAM! is a student-run organization that makes mind-body awareness and fitness accessible at Wesleyan through offering classes in a wide variety of practices – yoga, kickboxing, spin, Zumba, and more. Have you been contemplating taking a WesBAM! class, but have been hesitant or unsure of which class was for you? Whether this is has been holding you back – or if you just want an opportunity to have a sweaty, fun time for free – Taste of WesBAM! might just be the solution to your woes.
This collaborative class will integrate yoga, kickboxing, and Zumba through the teaching practices of five phenomenal WesBAM! instructors: Renee Dunn ’14, Shira Engel ’14, Emily Hunt ’13, Anya Morgan ’14, and Leigh Stewart ’13. Each instructor will teach a 10-12 minute segment of their class, ensuring an exciting and unique fitness experience.
All levels welcome and accommodated. Come one, come all and mix it up with us for this awesome sampler class!

Then come on down TONIGHT to Fayerweather 108 at 6:30 for Zumba, as a part of WesBAM!!
Zumba combines Latin and International music with a fun and effective workout system.
Additionally, this week to promote the class a little more, it’s…BRING-A-FRIEND WEEK!!!!!! If you bring a friend to class today or tomorrow, it’s $3 for each of you (instead of the normal $5 drop-in rate!!!). So spread the word, share the love, join the party!

Zumba fuses Latin rhythms (Cumbia, Reggaeton, Merengue, and Salsa, e.g.) and easy-to-follow dance-esque routines to create a dynamic fitness/dance program that will tone and sculpt your body while you get a great cardiovascular workout. It’s extremely fun, and an incredible stress-reliever, and most importantly, it doesn’t feel like exercise! No dance experience necessary! Come join the super fun Brazilian inspired workout that combines cardio-blasting steps with some rad tunes. Burn some intense calories without even realizing it, and enjoy an awesome dance party with your friends!
Best of all, the first class is free!
